Polar Express to Santa’s Village

Saturday, December 10

The young (and young at heart) will enjoy this magical journey to the “North Pole” and the holiday memories that will last a lifetime!  Children can wear their pj’s to the bus, and change when we arrive at our rest stop in New Hampshire, if they choose.  The conductor will check off each child’s name on the list, issue them their special “Polar Express ticket,” (which the conductor will validate on the bus), and present each child with a special jingle bell.  We’ll enjoy the movie Polar Express on our way north, and arrive at Santa’s Village (Jefferson, NH) around noon.  Once there, you are free to enjoy the park independently.  All rides and shows are included with your admission, as well as some additional activities.  Santa will greet every child and listen attentively to all of their Christmas wishes and wants, and Mrs Claus will provide a cup of her warm holiday wassail to welcome you to their home.  This park is a Christmas Wonderland, complete with 14 Christmas-themed rides - from merry-go-rounds and Antique Car rides to roller coasters; several live holiday shows, including the new 3-D show, “A Tinkerdoodle Christmas,”- a hilarious show about the antics of L. Fastidious Tinkerdoodle as he prepares Santa for his yearly journey on Christmas Eve; and the all new “Jingle Jamboree” staring Elfin-John & Elfis.  You can also visit the barn to pet Santa’s Reindeer, feed them special cookies, play fun reindeer games and learn some interesting facts about these magical animals.  You’ll have five hours to enjoy all that the park has to offer, and then when you return to the bus, you’ll find that the Elves will have a surprise for the children – they have added some “holiday cheer” to our bus - lights and decorations, and Santa has left a special treat for each child (ages 4-15) on their seat!  We’ll sing-along to our favorite Christmas Carols from our Christmas Karaoke DVD as we enjoy our snack on the return ride.  We’ll make a rest stop for dinner (fast food) and to allow the children to put on their pj’s for the remainder of the trip back to the Cape, if they wish.  Children must be at least 4 years old, accompanied by an adult, and have the ability to remain seated for the bus rideWarm clothes and comfortable shoes are recommended. $ 89

Vanderbilt for his wife, and it was the first of the “grand cottages” in Newport, a beautiful mansion clad in shimmering white marble.  But, Marblehouse was soon eclipsed by “The Breakers,” summer home of Williams’ older brother, Cornelius II.  The Breakers has never been surpassed, and is a magnificent property of the grandest scale!  You’ll tour both of these magnificent mansions decorated for the holidays.
